Would you believe it Summer has almost been and gone.
Following the very successful Delamore Arts Exhibition, near Ivybridge in May, when I sold an original painting, Drawn to the Valley held the Summer Exhibition at the Butchers Hall, Tavistock, where I sold a further original. Both events were very well attended and were both very successful.
I have been working on a landlocked alternative to my seascapes which is a large 96cm x 52cm (before framing) of Kings Tor on Dartmoor. It depicts the wild wilderness and was quite a detailed venture into textures and features of the rough country.
I am now back to the sea, working on a 90cm x 30cm (pre framed) seascape and enjoying the flow of crashing waves!
Just to let you know, Greetings Cards are available of most of my paintings including some Christmas cards from the painting, “Christmas Holly” now featured in the “Other” category of my Gallery. All @£2.50 each
EVENT – Yes we are now into Open Studio Event 2022 from August 27th to 4th September at my home address in Lewdown. My studio is open to all from 10.30am to 4.30pm daily over the exhibition period. Just come to Lewdown on the C822 (the old A30 just north of Lifton) look out for direction signs at the war memorial in the middle of the village. All are welcome and I look forward to meeting you.
There is a trail of Open Studios throughout the Tamar Valley area stretching down as far as Plymouth with 67 artists at 38 different venues. Could be a good day out!
